Psoriasis is a chronic and inflammatory disease, which is easy to see and recur. And the cause of the disease is unknown. It usually causes heavy damage to physical and mental health. As a result, to find the way which can reduce the recurrence has become a new research direction. The literature survey includes three parts. The first part is to expound the pathogenesis and different treatment based on diverse syndrome of psoriasis with traditional Chinese medicine. The second overview summarizes the progress in treatment and the research of the recurrence of psoriasis with different therapeutic method. The third part mainly reviews the research about the relevance between T cells and psoriasis in modern medicine. The report includes two parts. The first one is the clinical research, and the other is about the experimental research. In this clinical research, there are 60 patients who accept a thirty-week follow-up.After the follow-up,the patients are divided into two groups according to the choice of therapy after the recovery. There is no significant difference between two groups in gender, age, course et al. After the follow-up,the recurrence rate of the TCM intervention group is significant lower than the group without therapy(P<0.05). And the TCM intervention group gets a longer average duration of remission than the other group(P<0.05). Two groups also show significant difference in the PASI score, pruritus score and Body Surface Area score (BSA). We can conclude that the intervention of TCM after the recovery can reduce the rate of the relapes and extend the duration of remission. It also can control the condition of the patients during the recurrence. In the experimental research,29 cured psoriasis patients take the test of T cells and T cell subgroup in peripheral blood. They are divived into recurrence group and remission group after 30 week. The result is as follows. The T cells and T cell subgroup in peripheral blood of the cured patients are still abnormal. In contrast to the healthy group,CD8+T is significant lower(P<0.05). Compared with the healthy group,CD4+T, CD8+T of the recurrence group and CD4+T of the remission group are significant lower(P<0.05). Contrasted with the remission group, CD4+T of the recurrence group is much lower (P<0.05). The study has showed that the cured patients also have the problem in immune function. And the patients with lower CD4+T may have a higher probability of relapse. In order to decrease the rate of recurrence, the detection of T cells and T cell subgroup in peripheral blood is needed. With the different results, we can take advantage of TCM to play its role in the regulation of immune function.
