Observation Of The Clinical Efficacy Of The Dragon's Warring Acupuncture Treatment Of Nerve Root Type Cervical Spondylosis

Objective:Observe the effect of "long hu jiao zhan zhen fa "on nerve Root Cervical Spondylosis(CSR).Methods:In order to study the effectiveness, we refered to the Evidence based medicine fundamental. There were 60 patients involved in this trial from acupuncture policlinic and inpatient department of First Affiliated Hospital of Hu Nan province hospital of TCM. All patients were randomized into treatment group of "long hu jiao zhan zhen fa "and control group of normal acupuncture treatment. All cases were treated 20 times.Then general status, points of clinical symptoms, points of ache degree and efficient of two groups were observed.Results:The treatment group treated with "long hu jiao zhan zhen fa",11 cases were cured; 12 cases had marked therapeutic effects; 6 cases had certain improvement; 1 case did not respond to the treatment. The effective rate was 96.67%.The control group treated with normal acupuncture,7 cases were cured; 6 cases had marked therapeutic effects; 11 cases had certain improvement; 6 cases did not respond to the treatment, The effective rate was 80%. Points of clinical symptoms and points of ache degree in the treatment group(9.833±3.833,5.500±2.921) improved 6.300±2.718,3.100±1.517 compared with those in control group (10.133±3.501,5.533±2.920) improved 3.067±2.243,1.633±1.351. There were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion:Both nedding method for treating nerve root CS have certain therapeutic effect, but "long hu jiao zhan zhen fa"made a better effect.
