Objective: Through the comparative analyze the status quo before and after Nanjing "pharmacy trust", in this case we can explore the performance of Nanjing "pharmacy trust", and evaluate the effectiveness of Nanjing "pharmacy trust". Then we can improve this model as well as to offer reference advice to new models.Method: Through various channels, we collected the information of Nanjing "pharmacy trust" to compare the data , such as the proportion of the drug, the average value of prescription , medicines income, hospital drugs for one day, the fee of patients whom discharged from hospital, the average fees at outpatient and emergency medication ,and so on, then analyzed the "pharmacy trust" of the strengths and weaknesses. After that we reform to make policy recommendations of the development on "pharmacy trust" and MedicationResults: By a comparative analysis of the data between the second half of 2006 and the second half of 2005, we find that it has a certain effect on "pharmacy trust" which alleviate the difficulty and costly of people to see a doctor ,and in some extent, it standardized the circulation in the market of the drugs, and effectively curbs commercial bribery, improve the level of medical service and has laid the basic of "separate medicine". But there is still a legitimate question to raise in the supervision and management in hospital, as well as drugs fees.Conclusion: The advantage of the "pharmacy trust" consist on standardizing the flow of drugs market and easing the "difficulty and costly to see a doctor", but it has deficiencies in the compensation mechanism, as well as security aspects of drug production. Through a clear government responsibility, increased government investment we can improve public hospitals compensation mechanism, and drug safety protection, further reform and improve China's pattern of drug procurement.
