The mountain district in Southern Anhui has a long history and accumulated profound culture, and many traditional architecture and village of similar shape and distinctive characteristics were saved there. The ancient village in southern AuHui is not only ingeniously combined by topography, geomorphology and landscape, but also has a flourish culture and education under the support by Huizhou merchants′strong economic in Ming and Qing Dynasties.Huizhou merchants, after they returned home, designed and constructed their dwellings with the concept of elegant, gentle,lofty and unconventional idea, and it made the whole culture enviroment enriched and village landscape more outstanding in the ancient villages.. The siting and construction of the ancient villages in southern AnHui followed the theroy of chou geomancy which has 2000 years history, it enphasized the ideal that man is an integral part of nature, and was fill with full respect for nature environment,with focusing on double demand of material and spiritual. It has high scientific basis and aesthetic ideas. After Huizhou merchants gradually declined, the Huizhou architectural features were kept by attaching to residential buildings in the old village houses.Therefor, these ancient villages are of great historical value and architectural merits.In this paper, it Analyses the development status and some existing problems of the ancient villages tourism ,basing on the theory of sustainable development, related theories of regional economics,and value chain theory.With analysing the ancient village tourism products development based on the basic theroy,development principles, planing methods and marketing concepts, this paper propounds related ancient village tourism products development and project settings;it considers that the regional tourism development model can be divided into resource-oriented model, space-oriented model and culture-oriented model, and respectively systematically expounds on the development model.On this basis,the value -added system of the ancient village tourism product development is further deepened ,and value- added process of the regional tourism products is embodied in this paper.
