Bt Indirect Procurement, Supplier Management Research

In today's global economy environment, the evolution and improvement of Supplier Management of BT procurement group is quite practicable and realistic from the purchasing management perspective.Base on collecting, preparing and analysing the variation of information, and a comprehensive analysis of the current situation for BT Procurement & Supplier Chain group, including supplier management status from the oversea and domestice point of view, the current purchasing method and process of BT. After a brief introduction of the purchasing management under the Supplier Chain environment, found out the problems from the current supplier management of BT indirect purchase activities thru the deely analysis, and then worked out the corresponding solution. Improvements have been taken in following key areas, i.e., establish the quantified supplier performance assessment tool, re-process the purchase process, re-classify the suppliers and improve the supplier performance review, and deliver a better supplier management system. As the result, we summarized this thesis and raised the expectations.
