Lean production in the world today is the most efficient and competitive production and operation model in the automotive industry. Nowadays, this mode research is around the world. Some of the best domestic enterprises have also begun the implementation of lean Production. However, many companies eventually get nothing with unsatisfied results, what is the cause? The author believes that the key point of lean production implementation is the management philosophy change or not. Awareness conducts behavior. If you want to implement lean production, people should change their original management ideas; otherwise, it is difficult to achieve the expectation. With the rapid development of the market competition, the growing consumer demand becomes personalized and diversified. In this dissertation, based on production system of Jiangling Motors Corporation, we have introduced 10 elements, 5 tools and 7 metrics of JMC lean production system. During the implementation of Lean Production, JMC takes lean production as the guidance, the employees as the focus and communication as the method to meet and exceed customers' expectations on quality, cost and delivery. In the production process, JMC focuses on cultivating and improving the comprehensive capability of employees and motivates their ability and initiatives. JMC insists on that we should identify and eliminate all kinds of waste, reduce production costs and improve the company's core competitiveness. All the cases and methods can make the company find a good position in the fierce market competition. I hope that the reference about lean production can help the similar domestic enterprises in the following implementation.
