Study Of The Consumption Level And Structure Of The Yangzhou Region Of Rural Residents

Since the reform and opening, the development of Chinese economy has made great progress and People's living has changed remarkably. But, there are some problems and conflicts in the Chinese economical improvement. Recently, the inadequate effective demand is the chief problem of confining the sustainable development of national economy. So, expanding domestic demand has become the stand of economy development currently. Because of rural populations accounting for nearly 60%, the deficiency of rural household's demand is the important reason which influences the deficiency of domestic demand. The Yangzhou city belongs to less developed area of Jiangsu province and rural population accounts for approximately 69%. Therefore, its rural residents'consumption problem seems to be outstanding. We should regard consumption demand of rural residents to heavens. By analyzing and valuing the consumption actuality accurately, we should lead and promote rural residents to expand consumption demand continuously, which has an important meaning to build the new socialist countryside of Yangzhou area.First, the paper comments on the representative consumption theories systematically as the base of research. Second, the paper analyses the changing status of rural residents'consumption in Yangzhou from consumption level and consumption structure. Third, with the 500 rural households'samples from Yangzhou, the paper use ELES to analysis their quantities relation. Especially, the paper conduct careful research on marginal consuming propensity, demanding price and basic living need and lodge current main problems about consuming structure of Yangzhou area. Then, by constructing multiple linear regression model between different income sources and consumption demand the paper come to conclusion that salary income is the most important factor of affecting the rural residents'consumption demand of yangzhou area. Last, based on the integrated analysis about other factors of restricting rural residents'consumption demand, the paper arise corresponding countermeasure.
