After thirty years of experience of Reform and Opening, China has established a relatively complete basic socialist market economic system. The transition from the previous seller's market has become a buyer's market now. So, the consumption level and the consumption structure extremely affect the production and management of the enterprises. Rural residents accounted for a majority of our population has great consumption potential, so the study is of great significance to its consumer situation.Drawing on the results of previous studies on the basis of consumption, Firstly I focus on the research of the historical evolution, current situation and influencing factors of the consumption structure of rural residents in this paper. The conclusion is that the economic development of the consumption level and consumption structure of rural residents has been greatly improved and enhanced. Secondly, through the study of rural residents' consumption structure differences between the various regions and the internal comparison of rural residents of different income levels of consumption, I come to the conclusion that the consumption level among various regions have increased year by year, and that the consumption structure of rural residents between the different income groups also needs to be improved.
