Ibm's Innovation Strategy

As a paper of discussing strategy, this thesis starts from innovation strategy of IBM, and tries to give demonstration that how a successful strategy can instruct operation of a big enterprise.By analyzing OIT program, which is subordinated to System and Technology Group (STG), this paper try to show successes of innovation strategy of IBM in IT market. Hope conclusions in the end will benefit development of Chinese companiesIn the beginning, this paper explains what innovation is and recalls the development of innovation theory, and states history of IBM in the view of Total Innovation Management (TIM).Then, background and content of TIM in IBM are explained, which are supported by OIT practice.In the end, writer concludes what Chinese domestic enterprises should learn.
