The pharmaceutical industry is regarded as one of the sunrise industry which it has become an important part of our national economy and a foundation to support health care and health services.It has been a combination of traditional industry and modern industry,as well as the union of a high technology and a large scale economic industry.The development of the pharmaceutical industry can promote and protect the health of people which will improve the quality of life vigorously.What's more,it plays an important role in promoting economic development and social progress.Enhancement of the pharmaceutical industry would have great significance on deepening the reform of the medical and health system,promoting the construction of Healthy China and cultivating new impetus of economic.Since the reform and opening up,the pharmaceutical industry in China had made great success.At the end of 2015,there are more than 7 000 pharmaceutical production enterprises and 1.5million staffs.Enterprises above large scale in the pharmaceutical industry have achieved main incomes more than 2.68 trillion.During the 12th Five-Year Plan(2011-15),the annully average growth of revenue and profit had reached 17.4%and 14.5%,which lied at the forefront among all the national industries.As a highly intensive innovation combined with technology,knowledge,talents and capital,the pharmaceutical industry had attained lots of original innovation achievements both in basic research and the market management,as well as the standardization organization mechanism and process of technology.Its innovative demands of science and technology had become a prominent part work of China.However,the pharmaceutical industry of China still hadto be faced with many problems,such as a shortage of research and development,a weak ability of innovation and lack of high-tech talent in science and technology.How to find the factors which would influence the technological innovation of the pharmaceutical industry had become a huge task that we will take corresponding measures to improve the innovation ability of the pharmaceutical industry technology in China.This paper systematically studies the technological innovation of Chinese pharmaceutical industry.Based on relevant researches in China and abroad,it has studied the theoretical foundation of the technology innovation of pharmaceutical industry China,analyzed in-depth the impact of technological innovation on the development of the pharmaceutical industry,discussed the development status,problems and opportunities of technology innovation,made an empirical analysis of the impact factors of technology innovation in Chinese pharmaceutical industry,and introduced from the experience of technological innovation on medical industry in the United States.In the end,this paper provided the strategic target,development principles and suggestions of promoting technological innovation of pharmaceutical carry out this research.Furthermore,a review has been described about the domestic and international advances of scientific and technological innovation.The current status and characteristics of domestic and foreign pharmaceutical industry are discussed as well as their science and technology innovation characteristics.Some confusing terms,such as innovation,technological concentratation of enterprises,high level of R&D investment,mainly chemical drugs in the market and rapid growth of biotech drugs.It is known that the medical technology innovation has the characteristics of high-tech,high investment,high return and high risk,as well as a strong administrative background.Furthermore,the innovative characteristics of foreign pharmaceutical industry have become a high degree of monopoly,a new mode of technology alliance for new drugs development,and several researches of various types of products at the same time.From a domestic perspective,the proportion of China pharmaceutical industrial output has rosen steadily in overall China's industrial sectors.The pharmaceutical market keeps a rapid growth which the revenue,profit and export value of pharmaceutical industry continue to maintain a high growth rate.The pharmaceutical industry investment in fixed assets also increases with the enomous needs of giant population and health in China.Comparing to the developed countries,the development characteristics of China pharmaceutical industry has its special profiles as following:the pharmaceutical industry is influenced bottleneck of the development of pharmaceutical industry in China.The forth section reviewed the current status and challenge of the technological innovation of pharmaceutical industry in China.In the past 30 years of reforming and opening,a series of huge success had achieved in the pharmaceutical industry.Its annual growth had been more than 17.7%which remained the head among all the industry categories.A series of innovation achievements were emerged contitually.The supply capability of pharmaceutical industry had become stronger than before.The number of innovative enterprises also performed an empirical analysis on the technological innovation of pharmaceutical industry by using the principal factor analysis method.Considering the impact of technological innovation of pharmaceutical industry which may-have,some factors of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprise scale,quantity,profit,taxes,the number of R&D personnel,R&D expenditures,new product sales revenue,patent number and others,are analized to detect if these factors will influence the technology innovative ability of China's pharmaceutical industry by using the principal component.The results showed that the ratio of the sales revenue of new products and the main business income played a key rule in the technological innovation of pharmaceutical industry.Other factors will have a rather relationship of pharmaceutical innovation to some extent.These results showed a foundation in the development of innovative strategies and recommendations for the pharmaceutical industry.The sixth section introduced the experiences of the United States of America about its technological innovation of pharmaceutical industry.In this section,some unique practices of USA had been elucidated as possible,such as the policy management system,related institutions of pharmaceutical industry,innovation subject,innovation model,financial market system,training and introduction of talents.It's worth mentioning that the government of USA had paid special attentions to the intellectual property protection and basic research.It suggested that our country should combine the national conditions property,standards,quality and brand,accelerate technological innovation of characteristic pharmaceutical industry.At the talent innovation level,we should build a strong foundation of innovation,cultivate a new generation of outstanding academic leaders,strengthen and enhance their ability of original innovation,information processing ability,interdisciplinary
