Training is the important component as well as the key function of human resources management and development. The term training refers to the acquisition or improvement of knowledge, skills, morality and competencies as a result of the teaching of vocational or practical skills and knowledge that relate to specific useful competencies. To some extent, training is one important approach to enhance the value of human resources asset, the performance of organization and the core competence. As one human resources manager or training manager, how to think about and take measures to set up applicable training system? These problems are the big challenging to training manager and human resources manager on one hand. On the other hand, they have valuable significance to the enterprise.The training system of VIA China (Shanghai) Technologies, Inc. is the study objective with this thesis. Based on the relative theories of human resources management and training, the research of the training system with some reputable multi-national corporations, the analysis of the VIA company, the human resources management with VIA and the SWOT analysis of training situation of VIA, the study of the new hiree on-board orientation training, general training, professional training and management training with VIA' training system, this thesis illustrates the deficient of VIA' training system and the solution to the deficient problems. As the study objective, the training system of VIA China (Shanghai) Technologies, Inc is the typical and representative one in semiconductor industry, therefore, this thesis is one reference for the training system with other multi-national corporations from this industry.
