The key of company human resource management is to set up motivation system, to make sure it is beneficial cycle, to make full use of talented people and all employees work hard. Motivation can exert employees. Therefore a reasonable, fair and suitable motivation system can motivate employees'potential ability and add more value to the company.This thesis regards a USA-China Joint Venture in Yantai as the research object. The writer of this thesis tries to explore the problems of the motivation system of this joint venture company through collection of information and questionnaire investigation, etc. in this company. Then the author uses the relevant theories of motivation to redesign the motivation system for this joint venture. The purpose of this article is to determine a new motivation system which will make the company attract and keep the talents of the joint venture here and impel them to turn their knowledge, skills and creativity to work for the company. And finally the company will gain a key competitive advantage and keep a balance of maximization of enterprises and staff's interests.The thesis is divided into four following parts mainly:Chapter one: Introduce the overview of the joint venture, including the background of China Air-conditioning market, the company's overview situation, the company's market share, market competition this company is facing, the necessary and meaning of improving the existing motivation system.Chapter two: Briefly introduced the current Motivation Theory mainly the two-factor theory.Chapter three: Introduce the human resource situation of this joint venture. Apply the motivation theory to analyze the status of this company's motivation system.Chapter four: Use the relevant motivation theories to propose the constructive scheme to the motivation system reform of this Yantai company. Introduce the detailed method to carry out the reform.
