China is one of the countries in the world which has a relatively complete nuclear industry system; however, the peaceful use of nuclear energy is not well developed. From the seventies of last century began to develop nuclear power, after thirty years of efforts, China's nuclear power from scratch, through the exploratory stage, development stage and to develop an appropriate stage. China has long been not enough emphasis on nuclear power, goals and direction is not clear. Route on nuclear power development has been in a state of controversy, it is the coexistence of multiple heap-based development patterns, today, and the domestic nuclear power plants operation and under construction, and the main technology is the second-generation plus.Nuclear power is an economical, safe, reliable, clean, new energy; nuclear power development can reduce air pollution, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and reduce transportation resources on rail and road usage. To meet the growing economic and social development of energy demand, ensure energy supply and energy security, environmental protection, to achieve the national power industry structure optimization and sustainable economic development, enhance our overall economic strength, industrial technology and international status, the state make nuclear power development as an important policy of China's energy construction, and the domestic nuclear power begin a rapid development phase.Research object of this paper is to China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. context in this environment, at the end of 2007 China Nuclear Industrial Group in support of the merger from the reorganization. The leader and pillar of the company is design, general contracting business in nuclear power engineering. Development of the company is under enormous pressure and tribulation and the design of nuclear power plant is only done before, there is no nuclear power project management experience, and three design institutes of corporate culture, job content and work patterns are not the same need for further adjustments, the company coordination among departments need to strengthen, human resources development, and talent development and corporate culture need to go further in depth. Apart from difficulties from the company as well as from outside the company competitive with the industry, potential competitors to enter the industry will bring pressure. Because of its lack of general contracting experience, the ways and deepness of cooperation with upstream and downstream enterprises will affect the quality of general contracting. Through the use of PEST analysis, industry environmental analysis, Five Forces analysis, KSF analysis and the Boston matrix and other analysis methods, analysis environment factors and competition of internal and external the company facing and the disadvantages and advantages, make company's development strategy and determine the strategy evaluation, to strengthen control and supervision of the implementation process to ensure the effective implementation of corporate strategy, enhance core competitiveness of the company, to seize the good opportunity of rapid development of nuclear power in order to more faster and more better development, put forward their views and recommendations.
