With the speedy development of Chinese economy and society, electric power load is increasing rapidly, peak-valley difference of power requirement is keeping enlarged, and users'expectation on power safety and quality is growing. The pumped-storage power station, boasting its unique ability to clip peak and fill valley, playing a big role in adjusting peak, frequency and phase, maintaining safe and stable operation of the power grid, has become an effective and indispensable regulating facility featured by safety and stability. As pumped-storage power station has a broad prospect in China, the maintenance of its equipment attracts increasingly extensive concern. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the maintenance management of pumped-storage power equipment of State Grid Xin Yuan Company Limited, the largest pumped-storage power company in the world.Guided by advanced theories and methods, based on traditional experience, considering particularities and special demands, this article analyzes the current situation of equipment management in State Grid Xin Yuan Company Limited, points out existing problems, and comes forward new standards more suitable. This article expatiates how to execute these standards in each stage including safety control, quality control, working procedure control, schedule control, production locale management, cost control, etc.Standardized management of equipment maintenance will improve the stability of equipment and raise production management level in State Grid Xin Yuan Company Limited. In the future, the successful experience can be popularized.
