The software radio appearance without a doubt solves each communication intercommunication effective method at present. Communication from wired to wireless, from analogous circuit digital circuit, also brought the different system to be unable to interconnect, mailing address sole and so on a series of questions when the new technology appears unceasingly. The answer of this question is found by the appearance of software radio.The software radio theory quite was already mature after many years. But because the current electronic device performance limits, it is unable to realize the ideal software radio system. Therefore in this paper it used one kind of current quite practical intermediate frequency structure receiver, and proposed one kind of feasible signal processing flow and the hardware architecture in view of the software radio request. Its core thought: Structure an open, standardized, the modular general hardware platform completes each kind of function with the software, and causes wide band A/D and the D/A switch approaches the antenna as far as possible, the signal which receives digitizes as soon as possible. This article main research direction for the software radio correlation theories and the main technology, the intermediate-frequency receiver design as well as the confirmation, the receiver digitization, finally realizes receiver hardware platform through FPGA.The first part introduced the software radio correlation theories and the main technology, for instance the signal sampling theory, multi-speed signal processing, signal processing algorithm, smart antenna and so on.The second part introduced one kind of software radio structure: Intermediate-frequency receiver design. Research the new technology of carrier synchronization, and then design one kind of Costas circuit as the essential structure of carrier synchronization. Then do the detailed research of the Costas circuit each key component like phase detector, the ring circuit filter and the pressure controlled the oscillator, and has made mathematics theoretical model to each part digitization.The third part has given the receiver digitized model. Has carried on the mathematical analysis regarding the software radio structure, establishes the mathematical model, and aimed at the model to make each kind of confirmation, the digitized process first is the floating point simulation then is the fixed-point simulation, then was Simulink and the Modelsim union simulation, realized the hardware language confirmation.The fourth part in view of the receiver digitized model, has realized the hardware language simulation, carries on the hardware simulation with ISE, realizes the complex module realization using ISE IPcore. Then the synthesis simulation, after then translates the corresponding layout wiring to succeed again produces the binary file to download to the FPGA development board, finally through examination hardware electric circuit value software Chipscope realization electric circuit internal surveillance, thus achieves the final confirmation.
