With the information and data storage needs gradually increase, people drive to protect against data from the increasingly high degree of concern. Hard disk data encryption to protect drive data is currently the main trends and tools. Compared encryption software, hardware encryption methods do not rely on system resources, and not be easily deciphered, and the use of independent and reliable key management methods. Therefore drive encryption system design has important applications and research value.This paper ATA hard disk, integrated AES encryption technology and FPGA chip technology,real-time data and drive the completion decryption hardware realized using the bottom-up design method, the motherboard and drives between the bridge chip system design. The system uses advanced data encryption standard algorithm (AES), completed a hard real-time read and write data and decryption functions.This paper first raised the overall system design, according to the system function is divided into two main units designed for work and the difficulties and key technologies are analyzed. Secondly, the agreement detailed control unit and data-processing unit of analysis, design and hardware implementation. ATA first agreement on the timing encryption before and after an analysis of the data presented after the ATA Hardware Implementation of the agreement. After the data-processing module has been designed, the use of pipelining technology AES algorithm to solve the ATA agreement and AES algorithm width data inconsistencies, and other issues. Finally, the overall system is realized. LogicLock use technology to optimize the system, using embedded logic analyzer on the chip encryption function analysis tests.Pass the test can know, the completed agreement on the ATA to conduct real-time transmission of data encryption and decryption of AES, thus achieving the expected experimental results and previous work, summed up the situation, the lack of work to clear the next step of the work direction.
