Design & Development Of Comprehensive Management Information System In Small And Medium Sized Electric Complete Sets Companies

From the angle of industry, companies of electric complete sets belong to ETO (Engineering To Order).They design BOM (Bill Of Material) according to customers'requirements. On basis of BOM, they purchase, check and accept the materials and produce products with these materials. In this single or small patch production style, the structure of BOM is simple and could be completed directly as soon as design is finished without resolution level by level. In addition, because there are many types of products, and much materials bought could not arrive at time they are needed, company level production plan is comparatively rough, detailed plan can only be dialed with flexibly by shop floor in accordance with production reality. So, in industry of electric complete sets, production plan is relatively flexible and multi-level production plan is not practical.From the angle of corporation type, in small and medium sized companies, organization structure is not complex, fund is not enough, talents of computer is rare, network resource is limited, computer configuration is low. Consequently, In order to let companies enjoy such benefits like convenience, efficiency and accuracy from the management informationization quickly and with cost as low as possible, it is of great importance to design and develop a comprehensive management information system which conforms to practice of company and its industry.Currently, there are few comprehensive management information system which in the light of small and medium sized companies in electric complete sets industry. Despite much immature business software both inside and outside China, some respects should be improved. For example, some useless basic function like MRP; high price; lack of flow control function in design; check and review of BOM; without direct show of order state with real time graphic; deficiency of function to send and feedback message; lack of such practical functions like apply and review of office utilities, cars and etc..This assignment has token the small and medium sized electric complete sets enterprise as the object of study. Unified the business flow and characteristic of A company, the comprehensive management information system was designed and developed. Main work of this article includes: To begin with, characteristic of the industry is analyzed; reality of the company is researched. After that, system requirement analysis including analysis of business flow, data, function, environment and performance are finished.Moreover, system design is conducted based on outcome of requirement analysis. In it, functional module design is depicted after the system is divided into 7 sub systems; database design focuses on its requirement analysis, concept model design and logic design.And then, the article focuses on depiction of core module of the system. UML graphic, method of design and development and user interface of some modules are shown. These core modules include management of login-in, BOM, message, and work instruction state, warehouse and information query.In the end, system is summarized, defect is pointed out, and future work is illustrated.
