This study aimed at monitoring and controlling of multifunctional rotor test rig. With the help of DRVI software platform and ZIGBEE wireless transmission technology, a remote experimental system of multifunctional rotor test rig based on internet is constructed. The system integrates functions of real-time data collection, analysis and field surveillance function. Long-range experiments such as collection and analysis of speed and vibration data of multifunctional Rotor test rig are succesfully made. The above DRVI and ZIGBEE based remote experiment system for the multi-functional test rig enables remote users do some experiments on data acquisition, record inquiry and signal analysis on the multi-functional test rig via Microsoft Internet explorer, and a multi-functional Laboratory based on internet is built up basicly. In this paper, several topics are discussed in detail, such as the ZIGBEE wireless design, rotor test rig data acquisition, the experiment DRVI software build, the establishment of the database, and the realization and construction of remote experimental environment.The sharing of resources comes true at a wide range by this system and in terms of space and time, and this has greatly improved the utilization of the experimental installation. At the same time, because of the flexibility and expansibility of ZIGBEE, the unnecessary trouble brought by Cable network is reduced. The research work provides a new way to build opening lab in the universities and institutes, and provides the convenient practical conditions for students.
