| With the popularization of information network, the digitalization of information resources, the virtualization of information system and the changes of users' information behavior, the information services are becoming "non-intermediary"; the exchange system of the academic information has to be reestablished. So the library has to be provided with new services model and ability in order to possess integrated information services related to the new scientific research. The subject librarians can combine their services with the users' scientific research. The subject librarians collect what the users need in a systematic state, so the users can get what they want in their laboratory, office or even at home. This will do great help for the scientific researchers.The current subject information gateway, Institutional repository under the concept of open access, and the subject librarian system are becoming more and more mature. So how to combine the resources related to agricultural subject with scientific and technological novelty retrieval, document delivery, users training and virtual reference services in one platform is what the author wants to research.On the bases of working experiences, the author makes an detailed discussion about the goal and principles of the construction of agricultural subject information services platform, and has made a detailed introduction to the key technology of the system, the system structure design, Function modules plan, and also has done some researches on the resources organization and construction, and given detailed explanation of the process of resources organization, including the selection of the resources and the evaluation policy, resources discovery mechanism, resources metadata plan, resources cataloguing, system of resources organization, resources updating and maintenance. The dissertation summarized the successful experiences in the process of the construction of services platform in order to give some instruction in the future work of resources organization and subject information services. |
