Research And Realization Of Embedded System For Construction Management Terminal

As the development of the embedded system, the application of the embedded terminal system is more and more popular. The combination of the embedded terminal system and the Internet is an inevitable trend. The information construction of the Construction industry changes from MIS of PC to the combination of the Construction Terminal System, where the embedded system is the core, and the MIS of the B/S structrue. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the embedded system which is combined with the MIS of B/S structrue.This paper does an analysis and research of the ARM-based embedded system. Against the chosen ARM2440, this paper expands the Communication Module SIM508 and does a demand analysis of the construction and management. What's more, it also designs a general frame of the system and does a comparison of several embedded operation systems. Choosing the Linux as the embedded operation system, this paper analyzes the start process of the Linux system and has a comparison to the embedded file system. According to the need of the system, this paper chooses the embedded database SQLite to save the local user information and reserves the root file system of Busybox and RAMDISK. By the transplantation of the MiniGUI, the graphical user interface is realized. Moreover, it also transplants the embedded database SQLite and the XML resolver Expat. By the programming of the serial, it realizes the communication of the embedded terminal and SIM508 communication module, and by SMS, the simple information interactive with the mobile phone users. It realizes the data exchange of the embedded terminal and the Fedora database server by the Internet programming using VS2005, finishing the development of the PC-application software on the basis of the Windows application server system, a statistics of the related data and the generation of EXCEL reports. Basically, it finishes the development of embedded construction and management terminal system based on ARM. It has special reference to other terminal system.
