Application Of Soa In Mega Eye Network Management System

Chinese video monitoring market is in a high-speed development. The video monitoring network management system, as the management, support and maintenance system, its requirements and standards are and will be optimized and updated in a period of time, which requires the system to adapt to the changing requirements and standards. SOA allows applications to be loosely coupled and integrated. It provides the users a quick and easy environment to integrate existing applications and deploy new applications, which makes it possible to structure a reusable and scalable video monitoring network management system.This paper first put forward the goal that the video monitoring network management system need to achieve through the analysis of the present situation and development trend of the video monitoring, and the design principles through the forecast of the SOA application prospect. And then, it studied in detail the techniques adopted to realize the goal, such as the development platform - J2EE, the foundation framework - SOA and the realization method - Web Service. On the basis of this, follow the system requirements and the business processes proposed by the China Telecom network video monitoring business specification version 3.0, we designed and implemented a video monitoring network management system. Finally, the realized system was comprehensive tested under each kind of environment to verify it has accomplished the pre-set goal.The study focused on how to reconstruct part of the system to protect the existing assets and leave behind the expansion space for the further development. Through the design and implementation of separation of the application function's change and software's SOA support, the system can easily integrate the present system and rapidly response to the changing demand, which makes the system more economical and flexible. The proposed design and realization not only apply to the video monitoring network management system, but also can be widely used for SOA transformation of existing enterprise-level applications.
