The Front-end Design Of Embedded Network Management System For Video Monitoring

In this thesis the current study situations of video monitoring technology at civil and abroad,network management,as well as embedded system application are discussed in detail. And then the details about design and realization of the front-end network management model based on embedded system in video monitoring system are particularly introduced.The network management model firstly processes the images captured by the image acquisition terminal,then transmits the data into a central control terminal.Test results proved that the network management has not only improved the intelligent performance of the video surveillance system and the utilization of network bandwidth,but also expanded the applications scale of the video monitoring system.Based on the close combination of embedded technology,video monitoring technology and network technology,the utilized hardware of the model took AT91RM9200 as hardware processor core,the designed software took embedded Linux operating system as developing software platform,and took V4L technology to practice monitoring function and using net-snmp source package to practice network management funtion.According to the test results,the realized module has achieved the planned results,and can be applied into the intelligence management video monitoring system.
