Grid computing is a developing and the newest area. At present, there are many of problems need to be done in this area. First of all, the security of grid computing is the important question should be faced. Comparing with the traditional grid environment, gird computing environment requires higher and more comprehensive security. Grid security contains the validation of grid user role; protecting the grid source and so on. So the grid security can be ensured or not will affect the developing and popularizing of grid.This paper researches the theory about grid and mainly analyses the requirement of OGSA and the support of GT4 to Grid security referring message encryption, authentication, commission and authorization.The proxy certification mechanism is always used to solve the grid security problems, for example, data transmission and Single Sign-on. This paper has a deep research in the proxy certification mechanism, which is the core technology of grid security. On the basis of analyzing the proxy certification management depository-MyProxy, this paper improves the proxy certification management system, which is hard to manage and to upload certification for web user and designs a new proxy certification management mechanism. This section plays a key role in this paper.Portal provides the single gate for the inner and external user to access the web site. Grid portal provides several grid services and the connection among gird services, which is simple, transparent and security. The paper also will construct and develop an efficiency and easy-use grid portal for the access system of proxy certification management system.
