The Research And Realization On Demultiplexing And Playing Of Cmmb Stream

The development of mobile multimedia broadcasting technology is is an inevitable trend of broadcast television technology in the future. There are seven standards now such as T-DMB, DVB-H, MediaFLO, S-DMB, ISDB-T, MBMS and Mobile TV programs proposed by Alcatel in the foreign. China issued our mobile multimedia broadcasting standard which Owns intellectual property rights on October 24, 2006. CMMB industries comes into a new stage. The development of CMMB terminal system is in the core part of CMMB industries. One important research is the decoding and displaying of CMMB stream. This is what this paper wants to deal with.As the special structure of CMMB multiplexing frame, most of the major players can not support this format. DirectShow technology provides a streaming media framework which is based on Windows platform. DirectShow technology provides high-quality playing, the acquisition of multimedia streaming, transcoding and playback and so on. It supports all kinds of format. It is very powerful. For user-defined format,it also provides a low-level flow control framework. So user can create DirectShow component to support this format or for Other purposes. Therefore, the technical program is mainly based on DirectShow technology.This paper describes the development of mobile multimedia broadcasting technology in detail and the development status of CMMB. Then it introduces the key technologies of the demultiplexing and the software solutions. It also introduces COM technology and DirectShow technology which is based on COM technology. At last wo designed a CMMB player which can support the displaying of two real-time CMMB streams.We also tested the performance of CMMB player and made a summary for the test. And we gave some notions for the future research.
