< Design and Implementation of Pipes Network Management Information System of Tianjin Water Supply Co., Ltd.> is a large scale web based management information system which designed and developed independently by pipes network branch of Tianjin water supply Co., Ltd. This web based MIS is designed to improve the management efficiency, synergy and accuracy for the emergent water leak repair units. The system includes a serial of operation management function modules such as daily business, programming, material, statistic, equipment, vehicles, expense, decision analysis assistant, information share, etc.This project is a production management system, it involves every employee of the emergent water leak repair units. The MIS change the traditional operation pattern of the emergent water leak repair units, it can accurately and agilely response for the pipe leak accidents, and process the mass date smartly. Furthermore, the MIS is the basis and backbone of the GIS system for pipe network, the information assistant system of water leak accidents, and the senior statistic and analysis decision assistant system of water supply. The MIS has a very foundational meaning to the information construction of a water supply enterprise.By now, the MIS has been implemented in Tianjin water supply Co., Ltd for a while, it reduces the labor cost and running cost greatly, improves the efficiency of water leaking repair process,and fulfills the practical demand of company. Deeply with the application, the MIS will be improved and optimized constantly.
