Digital Campus Network Solution In Epon Technology

From 2007, EPON at first had been connected in a telecom market competition in Beijing Unicom metropolitan area network. With technology evolving, the various terminal equipment developing and the access range of EPON from luxury residential buildings to general residential buildings and contryside, EPON still was used in traditional voice and the internet services. So how to take the market competition advantage, competitive market driven by technological development had become EPON technology development topics. The paper takes the case of campus network solution with EPON technology in ShaHe campus of Central University of Finance and Economics, into the study will focus on how to apply to the campus EPON technology, with a network bearing the telecom operators and university numbers of business, and at a low cost in the market. We combined with recent years work experience in communications enterprises, developed a perfect solution using EPON access point to more digital access to meet the needs of enterprise and university, with a high bandwidth and business network integration and features, and for enterprise development to provide some useful new ideas.This article mainly includes five parts, chapter one as an introduction mainly expounds the subjects of background and meaning, also author's career and achievements. The next chapter we briefly introduce the paper involved the basic principle of EPON technology and general application, and Beijing Unicom ChangPing branch in EPON technical applications. The Chapter three focuses on the network based on EPON digital campus construction in ShaHe campus of Central University of Finance and Economics. The fourth chapter is about future development of EPON technology and chapter five is the last part, summarizing the whole research process with implementation and harvest, and making the next ideas and suggestions.The project is on the basis of theoretical analysis, combining the EPON technology innovation application and the actual situation of Beijing Unicom ChangPing branch and the Central University of Finance and Economics. Successful implementation of the scheme fully verified EPON in the digital campus network construction of feasibility, and also be a reference about full EPON system and expanding EPON application in the future.
