This thesis presents the relevant work of the project of "The TD-LTE wireless terminal test set development". TD-LTE wireless terminal test set takes tests of kinds of indexes of TD-LTE terminal, which make it the important means of terminal quality assurance. Baseband unit is an important part of the test set. Its main function is to complete the data transmission between the main controller and the RF modules, and the physical baseband signal processing. The baseband unit function and performance index is the foundation of realizing the test set overall indexes.This thesis focuses on design and implementation of several functional circuits of baseband unit:the RocketIO GTP interface between baseband unit FPGA and the RF modules, the AIF interface between DSP and FPGA for high-speed antenna data transmission, the CPCI interface between the main controller and FPGA for data and control information transmission, the SRIO and AIF interfaces between two high-speed DSPs for serial data transmission, the Ethernet MAC interface between DSP and FPGA for L3 data and control information transmission, external high-capacity DDR2 memory circuit of DSP and FPGA, low jitter, low phase noise clocks circuit and power circuit of DSP and FPGA.This thesis concludes the baseband circuit board debugging and testing process finally. It's been proved that the functionality and performance of the baseband unit has met its data processing capability, data throughput, storage capacity and other functions and performance requirements and the overall design requirements.
