GSM wireless network parameter refers to wireless devices and radio resource-related parameters. These parameters play an important role on the network coverage area, service type, service quality and so on, so adjusting the radio parameters to achieve a reasonable balance network traffic and improve the quality of GSM network is an important part of GSM network planning and optimization.Based on the actual operation of network performance in the various events, with different topography, this article plans and designs the BSC-level parameters, BTS-level parameters, neighbor cell parameters, hand over parameters and power control parameters from the district level and district level.BSS system includes BSC and BTS, so BSS parameters are divided into BSC parameters and BTS parameters, which control the BSC and BTS modules respectively. In the GSM system, signaling is mainly distributed in the MAP interfaces, A interfaces, Ater interfaces, Abis interface and the Um interface.When mobile communication network have been built and put into running, the network operators need to adjust the network structure, configuration and parameters to make the network more reasonable to work. The planning and design of radio parameters refers to the process of adjusting the local or global radio parameters to improve the communication quality, improve the average network services performance and improve equipment utilization, which is based on the actual radio channel characteristics, traffic characteristics and signaling traffic load conditions of the running communication network system.In fact, the basic principle of radio parameter adjustment is to fully utilize the existing wireless resources and use the way of traffic balance to make the whole network traffic and signaling traffic as evenly as possible, to increase the average service level of the network.Finally, the planned and designed radio parameters are practiced in the live network to verify the accuracy and validity in the verification test which achieved the desired results.
