Research method of Vega Information Grid (VIG)is similar to that of the computer architecture.It takes the VIG as a virtual machine,provides the common need and func -tion of information sharing .The REVP resource model is presented to eliminate info- rmation isolated island and meet the request of single information source.Virtual Rela- tion Engine based on Web Services connects effective layer and physical layer with the help of virtual layer. The contribution of the thesis can be concluded into the following aspects. Firstly, it gets the information of bottom relation by analyzing the address of the Effective relation then finding out the physical resource.Secondly, It according to the parameter from effective layer give the instruct. which the physical layer can understand right.Thirdly, it takes the managing model which is advantegeous to search the resource.Virtual Relation Engine allows the online modification ,deletion and creation of the schema. It also allows that the application of user dynamically bind the bottom resource.It makes user access the physical relation through the virtual relation .It allows the operation on the schema of effective relation ,virtual relation and physical relation and the operation of date which effective relation,virtual relation and physical relation have.It allows user to creat,delete and modify the effective relation,virtual relation and physical relation.The virtual relation engine has been applicated in Vega ICT Grid System.
