The Construction Of Grid Architecture And Its Application In The Field Of Agriculture

Agricultural Information Services (AIS) are very important to our agricultural modernization. Thethesis analyzes all existing AIS, and points out that it is a system project that should stand at thefrontier of information technology, fully take advantage of information technology, use gridcomputing to solve AIS. Put together all research institute's scientific achievements, AIS systems,expert systems, etc. to serve for the problems of "Agriculture, Country and Peasants" effectively,easily and cheaply.The thesis objects to AIS, analyzes and compares the development and trendency of gridtechnology,takes advantage of the theory and achievements of OGSA and web services, and hasbuilt a "revolutionary architecture" based on the theory of Petri-net's layers and modules.The architecture consists of the following layers:Grid Infrastructure,Grid Support, ResourcesManagement, Applications Development, Application.The thesis described all layers in the architecture with specification, and described every layer'sfunctions, protocols, etc. Designed the resources' name rules, descriptions, OS resourcesmanagement, etc. and the relationships of different elements of WSDL document.In the end, the thesis starts from the reality of AIS, has designed applications including theelectronic government affairs for the agricultural information, the agricultural grid forum, etc., itwould be the basis for developing the future's AIS grid.
