As a graphic image input device, Scanner have a wide range of digital applications demand in the domestic military, surveying, construction and other special areas. At this stage, as users of the color scanners, have become increasingly demanding quality and improve the ability to restore the image scanner has an important significance. For these, the paper studies a smooth multi-stage GAMMA Curve Correction turning point problems arise in the course, smooth multi-connected segments of different GAMMA coefficient curve. So that the brightness of the scanner device has a uniform transition to ensure that the equipment transition to a harmonious color displayed in the image, increasing the level of display images a sense of authenticity and clarity of color.Paper introduces the basic principles of color science and the basic concept of scanner RGB color space, then elaborated on the basic principles of GAMMA correction and gives the GAMMA correction algorithm. Then the paper discusses the geometric properties of NURBS curves and had a NURBS curve algorithm analysis, is given with the boundary conditions and data points of data parameterized NURBS curve interpolation algorithm. Finally, for the requirements for the issue, the application NURBS algorithm to solve the GAMMA Curve Correction turning point in the process of smoothing the problem, making the image scanner devices transition to uniform color, image quality has been significantly improved.
