The number of LCD TV increases very fast because of people's greater and greater demands of LCD TVs.How to gain more market share to break away from the low payoff complexion because of cut-throat competition and to be competitive in the market is a strategic problem that can decide the manufacturers' survival and development.Under this situation,quality improvement of product becomes a key weight for the manufacturers to win in the marketing competition and also is the TV set manufacturers' orientation to make great efforts.At present technical level, it is a key point for the manufacturers to correct GAMMA curve and color temperature to improve the quality of LCD TV.Up to now,domestic color TV manufacturers usually do that by hand correcting which has the lacks mentioned below:Firstly,adjusting time is very long.In traditional method,the parameters of the LCD monitor are read many times and the LCD monitor is corrected with the fed back parameters every time,which results in long time and low efficiency to correct every GAMMA curve and color temperature required.Secondly,Because of the long correcting time in traditional method,it often impossible to correct every LCD monitor in real manufacture.In real manufacture, only one of the whole group of monitors is corrected and the parameters(whose form is GAMMA table) obtained then are loaded to the whole group.Because the parameters gained by correcting only one of the group of LCD monitor can not be proper to the others in the whole group,the precision of the correcting can't be very high,which leads to the fact that not only the lowest luminance the white balance can reach is very high but also the chromatic aberration when high luminance is great.In this task,the LCD monitor is automatically corrected in high-accuracy with the GAMMA table generated and loaded into the picture processing chip after the parameters are analyzed and mathematical calculations are performed by the software designed by the author of this paper.The original monitor's parameters are just read once and the GAMMA curve and color temperature are automatically corrected according to theγvalues and color temperature the user sets,which costs much shorter time compared with the traditional correcting method and the efficiency becomes much higher.With this method,every monitor of the group can be corrected solely in large scale production,which overcomes the lack of low precision because of loading the parameter gained by correcting only one monitor in the group into the whole group.The achievement of this task has been proved to have real application value in mass manufacture.Performance index of this research task:The time used to read the parameters of the original monitor:1' 50sCorrecting time:5s/GAMMAPrecision of color temperature:JND≤1The lowest luminance:1cd/m2(when JND=1)...
