The Research On Color Consistency Of LED Bacldight LCD TV

With the rapid development of economy, people’s life has changed with each passing day, and also put forward higher requirements for the quality of life. Flat-panel TVS appear into people’s life and higher requirements on colorareput forward. With continuous improvement of LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology andperformance, LED produces a significant impact in the field of backlight of liquid crystal TV. Today flat-panel TV has an obvious flaw, namely there exist obvious differences in subjective effects between different modelTVS.Theunmatched problem of color of LCD TV purchased by domestic manufacturers, which is caused cumulatively by the difference of BIN of LED and inconsistency due to performance limitations of color analyzer in the whole machine design and production process, is needed urgently to be solved by finding the solution and is improved further from the root.At present, GAMMA curve and color temperature correction used by the mainstream LCD manufacturers have a bigger deviation with the theoretical value, and the deviation is not within the error range of high-grade TV, such as low accuracy, low efficiency, poor consistency.The accuracy of color correction is the key of production technology of the domestic color TV, and also is the main bottleneck of improving product quality, in this case, searching the precision difference of color analysis process and the problem of same color but different spectrum due to BIN of backlight, and the corresponding solutions become the striving direction of each big TV manufacturers.This paper analyzed the reason of same color but different spectrum of the theory of colorimetry by researching the theory of colorimetry and analyzing the color analysis tools, based on this, analyzed clearly accuracy difference of color analyzer. At the same time it promoted the application of the LED mixing BIN technology in the whole machine system manufacturers, made LED backlight from different spectrum to same spectrum and induced the error scope and combined the use of light color spitting instrument and finally reached the purpose of same color. Through the theory of same color but different spectrum, combining with the influences of article LED lights single BIN on the optical propertiesofliquid crystal module, and based on the design experience in the original article lamp, studied the LED production principle and output characteristics, graspedthedesign technology of the article LED lights mixing BIN, formed system development abilityindependentlycombining with the LCD screen specification requirements.To find problems and deficiencies through the practice and to improve continuously is to form the industrialization application ability and laid a good foundation for the gradual improvement ofcolor consistency of LED backlight LCD TV finally.
