FAS is a Factory Automation Solution which includes the automatic control system and the equipment execution system for the solar panel manufacturing. The equipment simulation system proposed in this thesis can bring the automatic control system a steady virtual testing environment by simulating the functions of the equipments exist in the equipment execution system so that the hard problems of testing can be solved during the development and improvement of the automation system in the manufacturing.Two primary equipment simulators of simulation system are studied and implemented in this thesis, one is the LASER Simulator and the other is the ACLS Simulator. Through analyzing the roles of the LASER equipment and the ACLS equipment in the real production line, the functions of them are summarized. And then, a method using scripts to control the logic of simulators is proposed according to the scalability. The two simulators are designed and implemented separately. Finally, the effectiveness of these two simulators is verified by integration testing of all the simulators and the automatic control system in the virtual testing environment.
