The Structure Of The Network Multimedia Classroom And The Settings Of The Communication Protocol

Multimedia classroom is a multimedia teaching platform, which is the foundation of multimedia teaching process. Along with the advancement of science and technology, the increase in education investment, a number of the multimedia classrooms than ever have increased substantially. Network of multimedia classroom implementing control and management, and expanding the function of multimedia classroom, from the perspective of management and economics has considerable value.At the very beginning, the designer designed a kind of campus network multimedia classroom that aiming at Dalian Ocean University of network multimedia classroom's urgent needs. This design facilitated the process of opening, using and manipulating the multimedia classroom and achieved the common multimedia classroom local control and remote control. Then the designer configured the network multimedia classroom communication protocol, through using protocol and management software support to achieve all of the functions of the multimedia classroom, in order to fulfill the comprehensive management. The management terminal server and the classroom management through the central controller machine ARP agreement to maintain close and accurate contact, through the TCP/IP protocol for sending and receiving central controller order information, and at the same time via ICMP protocol which is the sub-protocol of the TCP/IP protocol grasp the classroom computer conditions, and central controller through RS-232 agreement control of the projector opening and video signal input switch. Through the remote computer desktop manipulation, the designer can solve the application software problems which the teachers met in class on timely. And also the management and maintenance personnel's physical labor can be saved.According to the actual demand of Dalian Ocean University, the designer put forward the campus network multimedia network classroom design ideas, combining communications protocol and management software completed the construction of network multimedia classroom. Nearly half a year of operation shows that the campus network multimedia classroom could fulfill teaching needs, easy to manage, meet the design requirements.
