Research Of The Implementing Multimedia Services Program In The Transport Ministry Private Network

Through the analysis of the service developments of Transport Ministry's private network and the requirements of users for the quality and kinds of services of the private network, this paper brings forward the design of the implementing multimedia services in the private network. This paper also expounds the new kinds of multimedia services that the private network can provides, the protocol and criterion, the configuration of hardware and network, and gives a detailed specification of the key-technologies about multimedia services. Based on it, the paper analyses and demonstrates the feasibility of the design. With the mathematical tool of queuing theory, this paper establishes and analyses the queuing network model of the star data network of the private network. Then through the simulation by computer, gets the performance parameters of the queuing network, such as average waiting time, average lingering time, average queuing length, average serving time and so on. This thesis reflects the changes of the queuing network's performance, and provides theoretic guidance for the function of the star data network, then analyses and compares several kinds of technology of user connecting network, and puts forward rational proposition of user connecting network technology for the private network.
