Research And Deal With The Mechanism Of The Formation Of Internet Group Polarization Phenomenon

The number of Chinese netizen has reached538million by the end of June in2012with the populairzation of the internet and new technology，takes place of theUnited States and ranks ifrst in the world.Network has penetrated into every corner ofthe society and people’s life, the network communication which subverts thetraditional communication mode, in addition to the openness, convenience, diversity,interactivity characters of the network communication, the influence of thewidespread attention resulting from network incidents on the social reality is farbeyond people’s imagination, thus makes the network group polarization incidents,such as network rumor, network violence, network KUSO. network assembly and soon, emerge in an endless stream. To control the internet group polarization events isno longer just a network communication problem, but also a social communicationproblem to be solved urgently, provides a platform for the masses who have beendepressed for a long time to show their opinions and convey the comments in arelatively free and independent wayBased on the issues mentioned above, this paper attempts to spread from theperspective of communication theory starting from the Internet group polarizationphenomenon and descirbes its representations, by discussing separately on thenetwork group polarization incidents, such as network rumor, network violence,network KUSO. network assembly and so on, we will do an analysis of theircharacteristics one by one and then we focus on analyzing the forming process of thenetwork community polarization incidents which is divided into three stages namedforming，developing and fading away, and then we help people to clariyf thisphenomenon’s forming mechanism by combining with a typical case analysis,besides it we also elaborate the forming causes of the internet group polarizationphenomenon through three aspects which are social factors, intenret factors and socialpsychological factors. Finally, we try to build a mechanism to prevent from andresponse to the internet group polarization phenomenon from government level,medium level and netizen level.
