Intelligent Home is a management system based on houses, using technologies like integrated wiring techonology, Internet communication techonology, security defence techonology, auto controlling techonology, audio and video techonology to combine facitilies on house life, with the prupose of establishing efficient living facilities and family daily affairs, improving security, convenience,comfort, artistry of houses, and creating a green and energy-saving living environment.Being a specific reflection of comprehensive national power and technology level, Intelligent Home has distinctive characters and merits, and wide marketing prospect. It can not only provide people with safe, comfortable, energy-saving,efficient working and living environment, but also appling modern technologies to develop and make a comprehensive use of limited fund and architective space, with the result of saving architective appling cost and protecting environment andlimted resources.Smart home system intends to improve people's living quality and make home more comfortable, secure and efficient by using advanced technologies. With the development of information technology, the Internet technology plays a more and more important role in almost all fields of people's life. So it is possible to connect all home inner devices into the Internet and control them through the Internet. This paper aims to design a cheap smart home controller for remote control. It is used for controlling the operation status of house appliances, such as electric light ,fridge and air-condition. The core-processing unit of controller is an 32bit S3C44B0 microcontroller. The hardware of remote chntroller is composed of S3C44B0,ethernet controller CS8900 and some other chips .The software is made up of simplified TCP/IP stack.These two parts are composed the embedded Web server in smart home. The simplified TCP/IP stack includes device driver program of CS8900, the program modules of ARP protocol, IP protocol, ICMP protocol, TCP protocol and HTTP protocol. So people can monitor and control the house appliances by browsers everywhere.This article has designed embedded chips based on ARM, and achived simple Intelligent Home controller. It can be a remote control of househols electrics such as light, refrigerator, and makes the full use of the32-Bit-Processor, solving the drawbacks of PC, which is used as controlling center(such as problems of large volume, large expend, high cost). The system designed in artical has achived the period goals. However, due to the lack of time, lots of parts in this task are still to be improved, for example, to achive remote data delivery of the"three diagrams".
