Under the new situation of deepening education reform and comprehensively pushing on education for all-around development, the carrying out of exploratory teaching is a reform to the traditional teaching, has manifested the general trend which the current curriculum reforms. The senior school biology is an experimental science-based course, the biological science's developing process is the process of inquisition and the discovery , therefore, using the exploratory teaching form may play the role which is unable to estimate in raising student's scientific accomplishment aspect. This article take exploratory teaching theory as a foundation, integrating with the present situation and problems of the senior school biology exploratory teaching, on basis of analyzing and summering outstanding exploratory teaching case, this paper refines the solving countermeasures and the implementation strategy for the senior school biology exploratory teaching. I hope that it can provide certain model and enlightenment for the senior school biology exploratory teaching implementation.The thesis is composed by five parts.The first part elaborates the background, the significance of selecting this topic and the research methods.The second part shows clearly the basic theory of the exploratory teaching, mainly included the concept, the connotation, the characters and the introduction of three kind of the exploratory teaching theories.The third part mainly shows the advantages and the significance of the application of the exploratory teaching in the senior school biology teaching, analyzing the importance and the necessity of the application of the exploratory teaching.The fourth part ,according to the investigation about the exploratory teaching in No.3 High School of WISCO, this part analyzes the present situation of the senior school biology exploratory learning and the application of the exploratory teaching, summarizes the problems which exists in the process of the practice of the exploratory teaching, and proposes the corresponding solution aiming at these problems.The last part is the practice research on exploratory teaching in the senior school biology. The last part firstly evaluates many outstanding cases of exploratory teaching, then enumerates the implementation strategies of exploratory teaching in the senior school biology according to the research cases.Carrying out exploratory teaching in the senior school biology curriculum, may enhance student's study interest, culture student's inquiry literacy,raise student's comprehensive quality, and have the vital significance for transmitting the new curriculum idea and comprehensively pushing on education for all-around development. Furthermore, exploratory teaching has the influential role to culture student's ability of observation , consideration and solving the problem, ability of completing the task independently, operating ability , ability of invention and creation and ability of the interpersonal communication, cooperation and competition, management.Therefore, it suggests the teachers in the senior school carry out the idea of the exploratory teaching thoroughly, master the diversified strategy of exploratory teaching, carry out the implementation of exploratory teaching actively, raise the effect of the exploratory teaching's implementation constantly.
