In the new curriculum reform on curriculum resources which points out actively develop and reasonable use of curriculum resources should emphasis on "to strengthen the course content and student life,and the development of modern society and science contact".With the development of modern information society,students pay no attention to local biological resources.Students are becoming increasingly unfamiliar with the culture of their hometown.Therefore,it is very necessary to use native biology curriculum resources in biology teaching.Though literature research,questionnaire survey and action research this study conducted a survey and design case study on the application of rural biology curriculum resources in Xinjiang.The main conclusions are as follows:Through the survey found that at present the use of local biological curriculum re sources exist the following problems:(1)the teachers and students lack of understandi ng of the local biological curriculum resources,only 6.67% of the teachers to native bi ological have good commend of the concept of curriculum resources,only 5.45% of t he students are good at local biological resources;(2)teachers have less use of native biology curriculum resources,and only 13.33% of teachers often use local biology cur riculum resources in teaching;(3)the teachers and students agree that using of local bi ological resources in the teaching is a good way that teachers in the teaching difficulti es with local biology curriculum resources.In view of the above problems,this paper combing the contents of the integrated curriculum resources in junior middle school bi ology curriculum.Taking the eighth grade as an example,a teaching case rich in nativ e biology curriculum resources was designed.It also organized the natural knowledge competition which is rich in native biology curriculum resources.In this study,local biology curriculum resources were used in teaching.This research analysis of the test results before and after the teaching,The main conclusions are as follows: this study using local biology curriculum resources in biology teaching has the following functions(1)which can improve the students' interest in learning biology,after teaching,like a 27.57% increase in the number of biological disciplines.(2)It is helpful for students to improve their academic performance.The average score of students increased from 63.11 to 74.54,and the pass rate increased by 24.68%,and the excellence rate increased by 17.26%.(3)it is conducive to the realization of the goal of emotional attitude and values,such as improving students' environmental awareness and passion for hometown.Through the use of native biology curriculum resources in teaching,it can be seen that the rural biology curriculum resources are conducive to the achievement of teaching objectives,and also conducive to the improvement of the teaching quality of biology subjects.
