As a teaching tool,subject mind mapping is derived from Bozan mind map,but it has its own drawing principles and methods.The process of drawing subject mind mapping can exercise the ability of logical thinking and summarizing.It is found that the application of subject mind mapping in high school biology teaching is less through consulting materials.The purpose of this paper is to explore the application effects of subject mind mapping in exploratory experiment teaching.Through literature review,the research trend of subject mind mapping and exploratory experimental teaching was understood,and the application of subject mind mapping in high school biology teaching was analyzed based on literature review.This paper defines the concept of subject mind mapping,and introduces the difference between subject mind mapping,mind map and concept map.Questionnaires were used to conduct pre-test,and Excel spreadsheet in WPS Office 2019 office software was used to sort out data.The possibility of applying subject mind mapping in exploratory experimental teaching was analyzed.After that,the appropriate exploratory experiments were selected from the general high school biology textbook "Molecules and Cells" for the teaching design of the cases,and the teaching practice of the application of the subject mind mapping in exploratory experiments was carried out through the empirical research method.The post-test of the experimental class was conducted through questionnaire survey,and the homework of students was collected.The paired sample T-test analysis of the pre-test and post-test data of the experimental class was carried out with IBM SPSS 25.0 software,and the teaching application effect of the application of subject mind mapping in exploratory experiments was analyzed by combining cases and data.According to the pre-test results of the questionnaire and the situation of the first monthly examination,Class A and Class B of a middle school were selected as the practical objects in the experimental research,of which Class B was the control class and Class A was the experimental class.The exploratory experiment was taught by conventional methods and subject mind mapping assisted methods respectively.After the practice teaching,the students’ work conditions of the experimental class and the control class were compared,the experimental class was posttested by questionnaire,and the data were analyzed by using Excel in WPS Office 2019 office software and IBM SPSS 25.0 software.The practical results showed that:Compared with the pre-test data,80% of the students indicated that their interest in inquiry-based learning had been improved,indicating that the use of subject mind mapping was accepted by most of the students.About 82% of the students said that the use of subject mind mapping helps them to sort out biological knowledge,cultivate exploratory thinking ability,improve their summarizing ability and logical thinking ability,and thus improve their biology performance.The main conclusions of this study are as follows: the drawing of mind map of exploratory experimental subjects has its fixed mode;The application of subject mind mapping in exploratory experimental teaching is conducive to cultivating students’ interest in exploratory learning and thinking and improving their ability of scientific inquiry. |
