Objective: The place of production n-butanol extract Akeshu of Brassica rapaL from Akeshu,Tulufan,Yili the above pharmacology experiment is exactly relieves a cough-settling,phlegm-dispelling and panting-calming heavily evenly the function effective active constituent .To study the chemical constituents 75%ethanol extract Akeshu of Brassica rapaL. Methods: Uygur medicine qiamaguer named rape turnip Radix seu Folium Brassicae Rapae, the source for the Cruciferae rape turnip Brassica rapaL. root tuber.1.The cough-settling and phlegm-dispelling effects were observed on three different places of production n-butanol extract and water extract of Akeshu, Tulufan, Yili, the ammonia water induced cough, model of mice and phenol red expectoration method. The panting-calming effect was observed by the place of production n-butanol extract and water extract of Akeshu ,wheezing and panting incubation period and relaxation test of isolated tracheal smooth muscle. 2.To study the chemical constituents and the test tube method of Brassica rapaL by priliminary test.The extracted mixture of Brassica rapaL from petroleum ether extract,95% ethyl alcohol extract, the water extract, the acid water extract conducts the research exactly. 3.The 75% ethyl alcohol extract of Brassica rapaL by using chromatographies such as silicgel column, SephdaxeLH-20, column chromatography methods etc. Apply chemical methods and modern spectroscopy such as 1H-NMR,13C-NMR to identify the structure of the compounds. Results: 1.Three different places of production n-butanol extract and water extract of Akeshu,Tulufan,Yili Brassica rapaL could inhibit mouse cough induced by ammonia water , promote mouse tracheal expectoration induced by phenol red., from experimental data,screens the best Akesu place of Brassica rapaL.to contrast positive control recognition (P>0.05). The place of production n-butanol extract and water extract of Akeshu remit the wheezing and panting induced by 2% acetylcholine chloride and 0.1% histamine phosphate , prolong the wheezing and panting incubation period, to contrast positive control recognition (P>0.05). It also possessed the inhibition on guinea pig tracheal contraction induced by histamine phosphate and isoprenaline dose-dependently decreased the resting tension of isolated guinea pig traehea strips.The n-butanol extract raises the thing to cease activity the exsomatize trachea to slide the smooth muscle function poor positive control(P<0.05). 2.The chemical constituents of Brassica rapaL was primarily demonstrated by precipitation reaction or color reaction with various indicator. The priliminary test indicated that Brassica rapaL may contain chemical constituents such as the saponin, the carbohydrate,the Alkaloids ,the volatile oil ,etc.3.According to their physicochemical properties and spectroscopic analysis,4 compound have been indentified as quercitrine (1),β-sitosterol (2),sucrose (3), lignoceran (4). Conclusion:Compounds 1,4 were isolated from this Brassica rapaL for the first time.
