In modern avionics systems, a variety of airborne devices between the increasing amounts of video data transmission and the traditional metal cable bandwidth become the bottleneck is limiting their development. With high-speed fiber communication technology development, the fiber has been widely used in modern avionics that is a high-bandwidth and high-stability transmission media. Fiber Channel is the avionics optical fiber communication, one of the existing standards. LVDS is a universal interface standard, using high-speed analog circuit technology, will ensure that the metal cable can support Gigabit data transmission over. With high-speed, low noise, low-power, low-cost advantages, LVDS has been widely used in modern video transmission. The development of fiber channel LVDS-based video transmission system combining the technical features of Fiber Channel and LVDS for the modern avionics development of the integrated system is of high practical significance.In this paper, in the preface of the easy on Fiber Channel and LVDS development status and characteristics, and based on the advantages of the two proposed research direction in this paper - based on fiber channel LVDS video transmission system. Outlines the FC-AE frame in afterward chapter the basic principle and the mechanism, and implements for the later word system transmitting end's design finishes the theoretically groundwork.Chapter III to Chapter V of this paper focus mainly centered on the transmitting end system design, FPGA implementation of each functional module program, and the hardware implementation program described in detail and explains the implementation of each part in the FPGA development of the general steps. In the end, there are testing and simulating for the transmitting sending end.At the end of this paper, we design the test to verify the function of the transmitting end, and analyze the results. The existing problems are discussed for further research to provide reference values.
