These days. Our country is constructing a lot of gas pipelines. With the development of the projects, such as Transport Gas From West To East, Transport Gas Form To Russia To South Of China, Import LNG, Gas Transport Land Form Sea, The using of gas in city will be popularity. On the other way, With the development of city ,The number of population is rising and a lot of gas pipelines is operating in city that is a center of economy and popularity. Any incident about city gas pipelines will take amount of loss to the city and will hurt society deeply.According to the characteristic of city and researching result of correlation in civil and in foreign, The paper had researched the city gas pipelines generally in the way of fuzzy collocation assessment method.The paper is as follows:1. Introduce. Introduce the background about the pipelines risk assessment technology, development of it and theories of it.2. Technology. After introduce several methods about risk assessment, such as. Decision-making analysis method, Probability risk assessment using event tree and fault tree. Construction reliability, the risk assessment that embodiment stress-strengthen interference models, we explain the method that used in the paper in detail.3. Model. We creative the model of failure systems and model of aftereffect systems about city pipelines, station.4. Standards. We creative the standards about how to evaluate every terms of failure systems and aftereffect systems and make the risk assessment to city gas pipelines more science.5. Risk acceptability. On the base of researching the principle of risk acceptability, some primary work has been done to the acceptability rule of city gas pipeline, on the other hand, some methods to alleviate the risk and some suggestions to make pipeline run more safely are given in the paper.6. Software. On the base of above terms 2 to 5, we workout the software about city gas pipelines.
