Liquefied gas pipelines are embedded deeply underground so that it is difficult to measure and take samplings, and even harder to monitor the operation conditions. It is fundamental and prerequisite for improvement of its safe operation to make a scientific and accurate risk assessment of the city liquefied gas pipeline. The risk assessment method of pipelines is capable of evaluating the safety of on-line gas pipelines based on potential factors resulted in pipeline accidents, the probability of the risk evolvement, and the economic loss in consequence of the accident. According to the risk assessment the manager can monitor the operation of pipelines and predict the dangerous region in advance, so as to assign effectively maintaining funds and transfer the pipeline maintain from the negative reparation to the positive prediction. This thesis studied the liquefied gas pipeline of Yansan civilian using the fuzzy collocation assessment method. The probability and the consequence of accidents are analyzed and expressed through the fuzzy mathmatics, beyond which the risk of the pipeline operation is represented as the risk matrix. Analyzing the failure factors of the liquefied gas buried pipeline, the main factors that make the pipeline failure are erodent, the welding quality, destroy by the third party . The result indicates that the risk of Yansan Petrochemical LPG pipeline is the second high level of risk. These fuzzy assessment results are reliable to provide guideline to improve the management of Yansan civilian gas pipelines and to keep its safe operation.
