| Mount Wutai, with a long history, ranking firstly among the four majorbuddhist mountains in China, is regarded as the dojo where abbot Manjusribodhisattva visions, as well as the only Chinese Buddhist shrine where there areboth Mahayana Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism and a lot of buddhist sectariancompletes. This situation is not only a product of the communication betweenChinese culture and foreign culture, but also a miracle created by the mutualdevelopment of Mahayana Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism in Mount Wutai.Buddhist monk clothing, after a long history of evolutionand innovation before its integration with Chinese traditional costume asBuddhism introduced into China, finally, with a unique style, developed intoa vital part of Chinese traditional clothing. In order to conform to Chinesetraditional Confucian clothing system and to accommodate Chinese naturalcondition and folk customs, thus being easy for the spread and development ofBuddhism, buddhist monk clothing has made a lot of innovation on the basis of the original Buddha-formulated clothing system during its integration withChinese costume culture. At the same time, Chinese costume culture wasinevitably influenced by buddhist clothing culture. The similarities include the same model andsewing method of trinl civarani, they both have distinctive local features amongmonk clothing, their features are cultural carrier and symbol, they are both partof the Chinese dress civilization. The differences discuss how they differ inmodel, color, material, personal effects.
