Since the Yuan Dynasty Tibet was incorporated into the Chinese territory, became an integral part of it. Also since that time Tibetan Buddhism was attached great importance by the central rulers, and widely disseminated in Mainland China. Because of the cultural differences between China and Tibet, there was some unacclimatized phenomenon at the beginning of its introduction into the Mainland, one of the prominent point was the secularization of the finery of the Tibetan Buddhist bronze Statue. At its initial transmission into the Mainland, because of "its ugly shape"its face was covered by a handkerchief mask, then setted curtains for the phenomenon of dressing fashion in the mainland. Thereafter, this approach was inherited and developed by the of the following rulers of the dynasties, reached to its peak stage in the Qing dynasty Qianlong period. The finery of the Tibetan Buddhist bronze Statue is basically divided into two types, one is seven clothing, ancestral clothing etc. vestments dressed on the Buddha statues; one is a "up cape under skirt" combined package dess, which is mainly used on the Bodhisattva, Defenders of the Law, Yamashina etc. statues of gods. In this paper, I mainly talked the second decorative styles of finery which is flexibly used and more decorative as an example to explore and analyze the Tibetan Buddhist bronze Statue of finery. The"up cape under skirt" style Tibetan Buddhist bronze Statue finery showed significant secular characteristics, which are closely associated with decoration and shape of the court costumes and robes of Qing dynasty. Mainly reflected in the use and cloud shoulder dress, prayer beads, Ying Luo and other clothing fabric of dragons, clouds pattern, the back shaped pattern, sea water river cliff pattern decorative pattern. Based on the specific analysis of the few existing Qianlong period of Tibetan Buddhist bronze Statue of Buddha fiery, this paper devoted to find out the intrinsic link with the Qing imperial court of Costume, and then come to the conclusion that the Qianlong emperor put so great importance to Tibetan Buddhism, on the one hand, he would like to use Tibetan Buddhism to stabilize the rule of the Mongolian and Tibetan areas, in order to achieve the purpose of maintenance of imperial power; on the other hand, which reflected emperor Qianlong’s believing in Tibetan Buddhism personally.
