Preliminary Study Of The Thermal Physics Course In Normal Colleges And Universities System Reform

Ushering into the 21st century, all nations are sparing no effort to implement educational reforms, trying to take the lead in the fierce international competition. Our colleges and universities are now confronted with the following 3 arduous tasks: deepening the teaching reform, promoting quality-enhancing education and improving the teaching quality in an all-around way. As the carrier to foster talents, reforming the content and system of the subjects should therefore be given the top priority.The objective for the physics education in normal universities and teachers colleges is to tum out physics teachers for secondary schools who are well developed morally, intellectually and physically. Thermal physics plays a vitally important role to make it come true. To meet the challenges by knowledge-based economy and better achieve the objective of producing talents, reforming the system and content of thermal physics should be on the top of the agenda.Through the investigation and analysis of its past and present, This thesis makes a preliminary probe into the reform of the system and content of thermal physics. This thesis consists of 3 parts, stating the demand of reform the system and content of thermal physics, analyzing the past and present of the teaching materials of thermal physics and eventually making a proposal of how to reform the system and content of thermal physics.
