Status Of China's Regional Marine Management And Improvement Strategies

With the development of global economy, resource exploiting field is expanding from land area to sea area, sea area is going to be more and more important space and stage for economic development, so marine management is attracting more attention from all of the world. These years, Although marine management has got some results both in theory and practice, effects in most countries were not satisfied in marine management, especially in the regional marine management. In this context, regional marine management as a new type of marine management has gradually get academic attention, which has been widely used in Europe and the United States and in had a positive impact on China. This new type of marine management take full account of environmental characteristics of different marine region as well as their respective interests, which can maximize the coordination between the marine department of different areas and local and national benefits, ensure all marine management participants to work together. This article aims to explore measures that can promote development of China's regional marine management health and fast.This paper firstly describes the development background and course of China's regional marine management, note problems during the development of China's regional marine management and analysis reasons for its development left behind. Make a combination of regional marine management practice and case abroad with China's physical characteristics and situation, propose the measures on China's regional marine management.
