Performance management is one of the most important means and tools in human resources management of enterprises at present. This paper focuses mainly on constructing performance management system for employees in securities sales department. According to experts and scholars at home and abroad related discussion on it and my own management practices, this paper analyzes status of performance management system for employees in securities sales department and necessities of carrying out performance management. It made a preliminary study and analysis on how to establish a scientific performance management system for securities sales department as well as basic framework on how to carry out it efficiently.On the basis of analysis on existing performance appraisal system for Huatai United Securities Tairan branch, this paper made a research on optimization scheme by using basic theories and methods of performance management and combining the characteristics of securities sales department. First of all, it made an analysis on inappropriate appraisal objectives, incomplete utilization of appraisal results, without related support and lacking of specific indicators for key performance indicators existing in performance management system for Huatai United Securities Tairan branch. Secondly, on the basis of analysis, in order to change the status of performance management in Huatai United Securities Tairan branch, Huatai United Securities Tairan branch must regard performance management as systems engineering. That's, according to different position requirement such as management, sales& marketing, services etc in Tairan branch, different appraisal standards should be made as per four performance management steps such as performance plan, performance coaching, performance appraisal and performance feedback. Systematic performance management'system for employees should be set up and carried out effectively.A set of scientific and reasonable performance management system for staffs has been designed for Huatai United Securities Tairan branch through analysis and optimization design for performance management appraisal system in Huatai United Securities Tairan branch, which can be used as effective enterprise management basis and avoid disadvantages and mistakes existing in current performance management. Moreover, it can motivate the initiative and creativity, promote organization efficiency and realize enterprise business objectives.
